The Icom F 1000 is a compact and waterproof radio, with many useful features.
The IC-F1000 series is just 24.5 mm thick, and yet has a watertight enclosure to IP67. The radio is under water resistant for 30 minutes at 1m depth. The dustproof construction prevents the intrusion of powder dust, sand, mud and other objects.
With built-in motion sensor ICF1000 series can detect its position, state of motion and stasis, and can also send a distress signal. The movement function detects when the radio is vibrating or moving, for example, during a chase. The lone worker and man-down functions are programmable.
