The Midland Alan 78 Pro is the little brother of Alan 48 Pro.
Compact radio for smaller spaces. The Alan 78 Pro has a power (1W/4W) that can be changed according to national regulations. This Midland Alan Pro is high-tech and can cope with all kinds of noise: it is equipped with the Digital Squelch, which eliminates the background noise, and the Noise Blanker, to suppress the ambient noise. Designed for multiband frequencies and designed for long journeys and routes in Europe, the Midland Alan 78 Pro has in fact a power (1W / 4W) that can be changed according to national regulations. It can scan available channels and is equipped with the EMG button on the front panel for immediate selection of the emergency channel 9.

The LCD display with blue backlight clearly shows the set functions and the S-Meter- indicator, which shows the RX and TX signal strength.

This Midland Alan 78 Pro is high-tech and perfect even when it comes to noise: the digital squelch eliminates background noise, while the Noise Blanker continuously eliminates ambient noise.
The included microphone belongs to “Precision Series”, with Up, Down and Lock buttons.

This Alan 78 Pro has connections for connection to an external Smeter, an external loudspeaker and a 6-pin microphone connector.
