The new FT-70DE is a compact Yaesu System Fusion transceiver providing both conventional analog FM operation and the advanced C4FM Digital mode.

The FT-70D with the AMS function identifies the type of modulation of the received signal, be it digital or analog FM C4FM, and then automatically and instantaneously the receiver to the appropriate modulation.
Another feature that distinguishes the new handset is the Digital Group Monitor (GM) with implemented DG-ID (Digital Group Identification) and DP-ID (Digital Personal Identification), which simplify operations at GM. Simply put the transceiver by choosing the same DGID or DP-ID allows you to communicate between radio with the same code, are selectable codes DG-ID and DP-ID from 00 to 99, thus providing a high degree of flexibility so that the user can have Group communications with other amateur radio operators in GM mode according to their individual requirements.
