The Midland 42DS is the portable 27MHz transceiver par excellence.
The Midland Alan 42 DS is a new model with improved electronics to make the audio experience even more unique. The Midland 42DS is equipped with digital squelch, ANL filters and noise blanker that eliminate the interference from external sources or motor of vehicle. The Midland 42DS has the same functions as the 42 and is a multi-standard transceiver with which you can select any European band and operate in all EU countries.

The digital squelch is the automatic squelch control that avoids the use of manual regulation; it is automatically activated by the input signal that is being received. The Noise Blanker and ANL filters improve the sound and make it clearer which eliminates interference from external sources such as the ignition noise.
Under the different functions we highlight the EMG function for the immediate emergency channel selection, the selectable high and low power ( 4W/1W), the functions SCAN and Dual Watch.
